BBI is proud to support and recognise the amazing work of UK nurses by sponsoring the Wound Prevention and Treatment Award at the prestigious RCNi Nursing Awards 2019.
This week saw RCNi announce the finalists for each category.
The Wound Prevention & Treatment Category recognises individual nurses or teams of nurses who have implemented new projects or initiated innovative processes that have resulted in a real difference to patient care within any speciality or nursing environment.
And the finalists are…
Emma Williamson, Angel Hill Surgery Tissue viability team, Kingston Hospital NHS Foundation Trust Julie Mullings, Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust Wound Care Service In-Reach Team, Bristol Community Health Jemell Geraghty, Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust
Kate Hancock, the judge representative from BBI commented;
“What a fantastic shortlist for the RCNi Wound Prevention and Treatment Award. It is exciting to look forward to the live judging on April 30th where we will learn more on each shortlisted project which represents a great mix of care settings from around the UK.”
