The prestigious journal, Wounds International, has published a Health Economic Outcome Research paper authored by Amit Gefen in collaboration with a team from Deloitte, Alvarez Marsal and Martin Burns BBI’s CEO.

The publication entitled “Modelling the cost-benefits arising from technology-aided early detection of pressure ulcers” discusses the potential cost savings when the SEM Scanner is used as an adjunct to standard of care in pressure injury/ulcer prevention. The data sets were gathered from the UK however the results can be extrapolated into other healthcare settings across the globe.
