journal of wound care clinical impact of a sub moisture scanner, what is the real world use

In the latest edition of the Journal of Wound Care; Louisa Musa with fellow co-authors, Glenn Smith, Nicky Ore and Gillian Raine describe in detail the “Clinical impact of a sub-epidermal moisture scanner: what is the real-world use?” within their own individual care settings. The overall results demonstrated a 100% reduction in the incidence of PUs in 10/15 sites and interestingly, clinical decisions around HAPI/U prevention interventions were seen to be influenced by the clinical utilisation of the SEM Scanner.
