Emma Williamson wins Wound Prevention & Treatment Award at RCNi 2019

We are delighted to announce the winner of the Wound Prevention & Treatment Award at this year’s RCNi Nursing Awards is Emma Williamson from Angel Hill Surgery.

Emma has transformed the management of leg ulcers at her surgery in Suffolk, increasing the number of healed wounds, improving patient experience and freeing up time for community and practice nurses. The reduction in leg ulcers has saved 16 hours of nursing time per week, and the cost of supplies has fallen

Kate Hancock, the judge representative from BBI commented;
“Sponsoring the Wound Prevention & Treatment Award at the prestigious RCNi Nursing Awards 2019 was a huge honour for BBI, and we were delighted to attend the awards to celebrate all the amazing work UK nurses do.
