A blinded clinical study using the SEM Scanner has been published online in the prestigious wound journal, Wound Repair and Regeneration.

Authored by leading wound care clinicians from multiple sites in the US and UK, the study using Biocapacitance of the tissues assessed the sensitivity and specificity of SEM as a biomarker for the development of Pressure Injuries/Ulcers (PI/PU). The study concludes that SEM biocapacitance can complement earlier identification of the risk of developing PI/PU.
